As a small but pretty version of the lynx, the Norwegian Forest Cat is part of the fauna of the forests of the Norway. They tell that these are the cats that exploited the world I join with the Vikings, protecting the supplies of grains in the sea and in the land, and believes-itself that they left their descendants in the American North back, as a bequest for the future.
The Norwegian Forest Cat date of centuries. The Cat Fancy of the Norway recognized the breed in 1934 and until 1938, nobody found that the Norwegian Forest Cat went a special breed. It was barely forgetful in the beginning of the decade of 1970, when creators began to be interested for the race. The approval of the race in the FIFe was in 1976 and the cats itself spreaded for the world. The two first cats were sold for the Sweden, and the first arrived in the North America in 1979.
