  BREED DESCRIPTION  
 
Origin: United states. The breed is resulted of the crossing of the American Cat of short hair with the Angora and other long hair breed. It was diffused us states of the east of the United States in the end of the century XIX, but alone passed it be known in the world from the creation of the Club of the Cat of the Maine, in the United States, in 1953.
